Sara Zimorski, Wildlife Biologist, will give a talk
about the LA whooping crane reintroduction project with particular
emphasis on the nesting and the successful hatch of two chicks this
spring.

save the Whooping Cranes in Louisiana, particularly their latest
success: the birth of two baby whoopers!

The recent discovery of two other whoopers found shot in southwest La. not long thereafter will animate our discussion. This setback amid success in the struggle to successfully establish a thriving, self-sustaining population of this majestic species, offers a chance to reflect on the program and how it will succeed.
